Welcome warrior, you are not alone. Trauma can befall anyone regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, or social status. Living with the consequences can be devastating because of the different feelings that emanate from anger, fear, shock, denial and confusion during the healing process. Often times, the pain just doesn't go away, it has to find a safe outlet. At Kara Olmurani we believe that all survivors are entitled to a safe, loving and thought provoking environment for every survivor to speak out, ask for help and give help in return. Whether they choose to report the crime to the authorities or not is a matter of personal choice and we respect that. We commit to journey with you to recovery. Our goal is to help the warriors rebuild their lives and be able to connect with family and friends. Our commitment is to provide valuable, practical information and referrals. Our mission is to support, empower, validate and educate survivors as well as their families by providing a safe, extensive, reliable atmosphere where survivors can find the support they need to heal and reclaim their lives. We trust that walking with you will eventually transform you into becoming a warrior! Below is our half way house situated in Kenya, that houses the warriors, 12 years and below that are undergoing a program designed for their support and therapy.
